Introduction

Arvora (“Arvora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a web-based knowledge workspace for capturing ideas, organizing them into pillars, and exploring connections through boards and mind maps. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website and application (collectively, the “Service”).

By using Arvora, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Account information: Email address and profile identifier from our authentication provider. Passwords are handled by that provider, not stored directly by Arvora.
  • Content you create: Ideas, notes, pillars, boards, mind maps, tags, and other workspace data.
  • Usage information: How you interact with the Service to improve reliability and performance.
  • Device and technical data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and similar identifiers for security and operations.

How we use your information

We use collected information to provide and improve the Service, authenticate accounts, store workspace content, respond to support requests, monitor security, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private workspace content to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.

Authentication and third-party services

Arvora uses third-party services including authentication (such as Auth0) and cloud hosting. When you sign in with Google or Apple, the flow is handled by our authentication partner. We receive only the information necessary to maintain your Arvora account.

Data storage and security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand Service usage. Disabling cookies may affect authentication and other features.

Children's privacy

Arvora is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us with personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
